Real Women Wait

Anyway! As I was hanging the laundry earlier, the song Worth the Wait by 33Miles was up on my playlist. I took the time to listen to what the song is saying and it really struck me.

Take note: habang nagsasampay ako nito. So, ito na ang new official soundtrack ng buhay ko habang nagsasampay. Sisa talaga.

Anyway again! I’m sharing with you the lyrics and the link to the song.

——–♥——–

I can see your heart is yearning
Everything is so unclear
Is the answer ever coming
After all these years?

It’s not an easy feeling
Sometimes it seems unfair
But He knows just what He’s doing
With unanswered prayers
So hold on

It’s worth the wait
Just keep believing
God has perfect timing
Never early, never late

It takes a little patience
And it takes a lot of faith
But it’s worth the wait

What if what you’re desperate for
Isn’t what you really need?
What if there was something more
Than what you dreamed?

We may not always see
We may not understand
But He knows just what He’s doing
He’s got a bigger plan
So hold on

It’s worth the wait
Just keep believing
God has perfect timing
Never early, never late

It takes a little patience
And it takes a lot of faith
But it’s worth the wait

In His time, you’ll be fine
All this waiting now, is by design

It’s worth the wait
Just keep believing
God has perfect timing
Never early, never late

It takes a little patience
And it takes a lot of faith
But it’s worth the wait

In His time, you’ll be fine
All this waiting now, is by design

What if what you’re desperate for
Isn’t what you really need?

Happy International Women’s Day!

Karapatang mag-aral, bumoto, at magtrabaho?

And wait.

Call me old-fashioned and pa-virgin coconut oil, pero hindi ako sang-ayon na ang babae ang magpapakita ng motibo o magsasabi sa lalaking gusto niya. In that way, hindi natin tinutulungan ang ating mga sarili at mga lalake. We’re pushing them to stay in their Peter Pan world. (I’ll be blogging about the Peter Pan Syndrome. Soon).

Women, let boys be men. It’ll get frustrating most of the time sometimes, but when we trust God’s perfect timing, and as the song goes, it’s worth the wait.

Yeah, we know a lot; we’re educated but at the end of the day, God still knows what’s best for us.

Ipaglaban yan. Patay kung patay. Pero kung puso ang nakataya, hintay-hintay lang. Easier said than done. But, hey, nobody said it was easy.
